The undercareage is nearing the completion.


Also the interior is coming together.

Hi
After a long time, some progress was made :tanz:

The cab got in a layer of primer.


Also the "cargo unit" ( I don't know how it's called in english :rot: ) is in primer.


Wheels painted in orange.


And some details added to the wheels.




And finished wheels. The silver color has been added by hand without the use of masking tape.


And wheels on the truck.







That's it for now.

Thank you.
I made those silver lines with a thin paint brush from Revell an I used a very thick color ( I left it opened for a few days, and then I mixed it with a Revell Color mix to get the wanted thickness ). I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, because my english is a bit rusty :( .

I understand all :) My english is rusty too, but yours is much better then my :) I can`t paint whitout masking-tape becouse when I have paint brusch in my hand, its shaking :D

I know what you mean. I also have problems with shaking hand. I found out, that the best time is at least 2 hours after a meal, and at least one hour after a coffe or a cigarette :lol:, and before I start, I just down at the table where the model is, and do nothing, to relax myself. :cracy:
Works for me ;).

The lines on a air tank and a fuel tank are made the same way. Oh, yeah. And I always make sure, that the lower color is completely dry, and have a tischue soaked in Revell Painta Clean, so if something goes wrong, I immediately sweap a silver color ( in this case ) right off. But NEVER make more than only one single sweap, because one sweap won't destroy the lower base color. If you do this more times, some damage might occure in lower color ( in this case with rims, the orange color ).

The mudflaps are on. Finally. I was thinking and thinking, and then it finally hit me, when I saw the KFS PE parts on an orange coloured paper :abhau:. And that's where I got my mudflaps from. They have the same colour as the truck, and they are flexible :tanz: :tanz:.



And some pictures with the cargo units ( I don't know how else to call it ) in primer and with the new mudflaps. O the cabin is still the old one, which will be replaced.

Uf. I haven't showen you any progress for a long time, so I'm going to do it now :pfeif:

Register plates have been added.





Some silver lines were added to the cabin.






The upgrade has been painted.


But I wouldn't be me, if I left it alone, so I have decided to cut the side panels off and make a wooden plato.






And then I painted the wood.


And that's it for now.

The front end of the cabin is coming together. The outlines of the windows have ben painted.


Fire wall is finished and added to the front cabin panel.





Also the nose ot the truck is slowly coming together.

Flatbed has been dressed with self adhesive reflective foil from KFS..

Thank you. O. The lines in silver color are meant to be seen, because I like to make a few things on my own on my every model :rot: :rot:

And some more progress.

The wooden floor got some holes to present the points of attacment to the truck ( they are suposse to be assimetrical, again, one of those things ;) )


Completed front side of the cabin.


Because of some fitting problems, I had to brake appart and redo the interior of the cabin.


Glueing front side to the cabin ( VW freak style :lol: :lol: )






And that's it for now.
