this was build some years ago, i have used rear part of chassis and chassis parts from heller G260 with some modification on suspension-extra leafs because original was too low ,everything rest is italeri,there is also bigger tank,it was made from two original tanks,and spare wheel carrier comes from turbostar

Very nice Model!!! You just gave me the answer for solving my problem to built a 2axle Renault!!!

It would be nixe to see some Detailphotos of the Renault!!

i have some fotos from building process, but there are before digital cameras era, so i need to scan this, i will upload as soon is possible.
i could say that it wa seasy to match this two parts, heller has sligtly smaller chassis rails, but this give you enough space to build flanges, which are missing on heller kit.

Always great to see some older trucks being build :ok:

I also have one of these Renault trucks in stock - i´m just still looking for some ideas for it.

Great idea to make a 4x2 out of it, and also putting the older model trailer after it.

unfortunatly, this are only two pictures that i done this time

thanks for all comments, i'm very glad that you like it

about cuting, be aware, as you can see, i cut a litle bit too much, and then i need to put some plasticard part between.
this chassis represent 3200 mm wheel distance, as is for older V8 models

about competions, as you VW FREAK already know, i never compete with models, only with real trucks
